Description

Bellevue Nursing Home, located on Stratherrick Road in Inverness, was built around 1865 and showcases Italianate architectural style. The building is constructed from ashlar and consists of two storeys. The north front features three bays, with the outer bays having gabled roofs and canted bay windows on the ground floor, while the first floor has bipartite windows. To the south, there is a three-storey tower above the entrance, along with a one-storey and attic wing. The garden walls are made of harled rubble, and there are square-plan gatepiers topped with truncated obelisk finials.
