Description

Mid 19th century. 3-bay house with single-storey 1-bay block

to right with 3-storey, Italianate tower above. Full-height

wing to rear. Coursed snecked granite with painted ashlar

dressings and smooth rusticated quoins.

Central architraved with moulded consoles supporting

pediment.

Tripartite vestibule door with acid etched glass. All windows

with raised margins; consoled and corniced to ground; all

single light with aluminium framed 2-pane glazing.

To right slender 3-storey tower rises from wider

single-storey bay to ground. Tower with round-arched windows

to 2nd and bipartites to 3rd floor.

Plain eaves, piended slate roofs. Tower with bracketted eaves

and finial.

3-bay, 2-storey rear elevation of roughly coursed granite.

Canted window to left at ground floor only. Tall corniced

stacks, piended slate roofs.

Low granite boundary wall to garden with pair of tall square

granite gatepiers with ball finials; good cast-iron gates.
