Description

Large mid 19th century re-fronting to circa 1800 2-storey,

4-bay rectangular house, full-height boldly projecting bow to

right hand 3-bays with embattled parapet. Original house

almost obscured, shop to ground.

Bull-faced granite with polished margins. Bar with central

door flanked by large plateglass shop windows. 3 single light

windows to 1st sash and case with 4-pane glazing. Recessed

bay to left with 12-pane sash to ground, plate glass to 1st.

Coped end skews, sandstone ridge. Bow with deep embattled

parapet with cenral pediment. Slate roofs.
