Highland Hospice, 1 Bishop's Road, Inverness

Highland Hospice, located at 1 Bishop's Road in Inverness, was built around 1875 in the Italianate style. The building is constructed from rubble with ashlar dressings and has two storeys. The front features three bays, with the left bay being advanced and gabled. This bay includes a pilastered tripartite window on the ground floor and a Venetian window on the first floor. On the right side, there is a canted pilastered bay window with bowed sides and a parapet on the first floor. The central entrance has a round-arched doorpiece with a bracketed cornice and parapet above it. The first-floor windows on the center and right have round arched lights and gablet dormerheads. The roof is slated.
