Description

Circa 1894 with later alterations. 2-storey, 3-bay symmetrical italianate house. Stugged ashlar with polished dressings; rubble to rear. Base course, band course, cornice and blocking course. Corbelled cills; stop-chamfered arrises; shoulder-arched lintels to windows at 1st floor.

SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical; consoled and corniced panelled door to centre, plate glass basket-arched fanlight, moulded basket-arch architrave flanked by raised panelled pilasters; window at 1st floor above. Tripartite windows at ground of flanking bays, bipartite windows at 1st floor.

NW (REAR) ELEVATION: external staircase to 1st floor; glazed door with 3-pane fanlight above at bay to left, 1st floor.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof with coped apex stack and skew to right.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1994.

BOUNDARY WALLS: stugged ashlar with coping.
