7 Pittville Street, Joppa, Edinburgh

7 Pittville Street is a terraced house from the earlier 19th century, with some later alterations. It is two stories high and has three bays. The exterior features a combination of stugged and painted surfaces, along with polished dressings. Notable architectural elements include a base course, a broad band course, a cornice, and a blocking course.

On the principal elevation facing southeast, there is a doorpiece with Doric columns and a cornice, featuring a panelled door from Edinburgh at the center. Above the door, there is a plate glass fanlight and a window on the first floor. Each flanking bay has a window on both floors, except for the left bay, which has a tripartite window on the ground floor.

The rear elevation to the northwest has not been seen since 1994, but maps indicate various additions to each bay.

The house has plate glass timber sash and case windows and a grey slate roof with coped ashlar apex stacks and skews.

The boundary walls are rendered with ashlar coping.
