Description

Earlier 19th century with later additions. 2-storey, 3-bay symmetrical house. Painted droved ashlar, polished ashlar dressings; rubble side elevations; harled extension to rear. Base course, string course just above cill level to 1st floor, cornice and blocking course; corner pilasters.

SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: pilastered and corniced doorpiece with deep-recessed, panelled door to centre, plate glass fanlight and window at 1st floor above. Windows to each floor of flanking bays, those to ground with panelled apron.

NW (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen fully, 1994; 2-storey later extension at bay to left.

Plate glass timber sash and case window. Piended slate roof with

2 wallhead stacks to each side.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1994.

BOUNDARY WALL: droved ashlar with coping.
