Description
21 Bath Street is an early 19th century house with later additions and alterations. It is a single-storey, three-bay classical house that features a symmetrical design and an extension at the rear. The exterior is made of finely droved ashlar with polished dressings, while the side elevations and rear extension are harled. The building has a base course, a mutuled cornice, and a blocking course, along with an architrave.
On the northwest (principal) elevation, there is a segmental-arched doorway located in a slightly advanced bay at the center. This doorway has a panelled door flanked by a wooden doorpiece and is topped by a segmental fanlight. The flanking bays contain windows.
The southeast (rear) elevation features an L-shaped, two-storey extension. The windows are plate glass timber sash and case. The roof is modern slate and piended, with rendered and coped wallhead stacks on the side elevations.
The interior was not seen as of 1994. The boundary walls consist of a modern concrete block wall at the front, complete with coping.
