Description
The Nurses' Home at the Royal Northern Infirmary in Ness Walk, Inverness, was designed by Ross & Macbeth and built between 1898 and 1899. This two-storey building is constructed in a baronial style using snecked rubble. It has an L-shaped plan that features a circular tower with a conical roof located in the re-entrant angle. The building has rounded corners that are corbelled to square at the first floor, and it is topped with crowstepped gables and a slated roof.
