Offices, Tower Gardens, 9 Tower Street, Tain

This building, located at Tower Gardens on Tower Street in Tain, dates from the earlier 19th century and consists of three storeys with three wide bays. It is constructed from rubble with tooled dressings. The central entrance features a door with panelled double leafed doors. To the left on the ground floor, there are tripartite windows, and there are three first-floor windows that are linked by a cill band. The building has three flat-headed dormers that rise through the wallhead, and it features 8 and 16-pane glazing along with end stacks and a slate roof.

Inside, there are some areas of panelling and panelled window shutters. The property is bordered by a low rubble coped retaining wall topped with spearhead cast-iron railings, and there are square channelled ashlar gate piers at the entrance.
