Description

The Railway Bridge at Pollokshaws West Station was designed by engineer Neil Robson around 1847 for the Glasgow Barrhead and Neilston Railway. This railway overbridge resembles a triumphal arch and is constructed from rock-faced and polished ashlar. It features a single round archway that spans a driveway, supported by giant pilaster strips.
