Description

The Railway Bridge at Carlowrie Cottages was built in the mid-19th century. It features a tall, single round skew-arched design, positioned along a curve in the road. The bridge is constructed from squared and snecked bull-faced sandstone, with a channelled ashlar intrados.

On the east and west elevations, there is a central round arch topped by a raised parapet, with lower wing walls on either side.
