Description
The viaduct at Salterland in Glasgow was built in 1847 by the Glasgow, Barrhead and Neilston Direct Railway, with engineer Neil Robson overseeing the project. It is constructed from large rusticated ashlar blocks and features three arches. The two arches closest to the west are wide and skewed, spanning the Levern Water. The third arch, located nearest to the east, is a simple round arch with a brick soffit, which crosses a minor roadway.
