Description

The viaduct at Salterland in Glasgow was built in 1847 by the Glasgow, Barrhead and Neilston Direct Railway, with engineer Neil Robson overseeing its construction. It is made of large rusticated ashlar blocks and features three arches. The two arches on the west side are wide and skewed, spanning the Levern Water, while the third arch on the east side is a simple round arch with a brick soffit, which crosses a minor roadway.
