Description

Built probably in 1930s. Nurses' home, long symmetrical west-facing block with clasical details; 3 individually-roofed (slated) ranges, outer ranges set forward; 3 storeys, the upper 2 (mainly) rendered, lowest floor brick and treated as raised basement, small-paned sashes, 1st floor windows set in shallow round-arched panels, terminal bays each with stair window set in full-height panel; 2-storey 3-bay centrepiece and bays adjoining centre range also brick; band courses; cornice; stacks; tall hall central at rear, 2-bay square pavilions.
