Nurses' Home, Leverndale Hospital, 510 Crookston Road, Pollok, Glasgow

The Nurses' Home at Leverndale Hospital, located at 510 Crookston Road in Pollok, Glasgow, was likely built in the 1930s. This building is a long, symmetrical block facing west and features classical details. It consists of three individually-roofed ranges, with the outer ranges set forward. The structure has three storeys, with the upper two floors mainly rendered and the lowest floor constructed of brick, treated as a raised basement. The windows are small-paned sashes, and the first-floor windows are set in shallow round-arched panels. Each terminal bay includes a stair window set in a full-height panel. The centerpiece of the building is a two-storey, three-bay section, with the adjoining bays also made of brick. Additional architectural features include band courses, a cornice, and stacks, along with a tall hall located centrally at the rear and two-bay square pavilions.
