Snooker Club, 164, 166 Craigpark, Glasgow

The Snooker Club at 164 and 166 Craigpark in Glasgow is a building from the later 19th century. It features an asymmetrical design with two ranges. The left range is three stories tall and includes a narrow canted top floor window positioned above a conventional two-story canted window that breaks the eaves. Slit windows alongside this range may provide light to the stairwell. The right range is recessed and consists of one and two stories, showcasing mullioned windows. Above an arched wide door on the left, there is a distinctive multi-light window, and an attic dormer is also present. To the right, a prominent three-light window with a pediment and a sculpted tympanum adds character. The building is constructed of snecked ashlar, has been stone cleaned, features plate glass sashes, and has a slate roof with skews and a surviving stack over the right gable. A low boundary wall lines the street, supported by square piers with shaped caps.
