Description

1964-5 Gillespie, Kidd and Coia. Irregular quadrilateral plan. Brown facing brick. On sloping site with railed platform to east.

EAST FRONT: Low brick wall, timber-framed strip glazed at eaves, doorways to L and R, latter inset approached by brick-stairs. Dramatic tapering copper-clad roof raked in 2 directions from R to L, with deep eaves fascia.

WEST FRONT: Similar to east, but lower, parallel roof, glazing

band between main and lower roof.

INTERIOR: Divided into 3 bays by 2 rows of 3 concrete columns carrying main beams. Finished in facing brick, roof finished in pine. On W gallery with sacristy and confessionals below.
