Main Lodge, Leverndale Hospital, 510 Crookston Road, Pollok, Glasgow

The Main Lodge at Leverndale Hospital, located at 510 Crookston Road in Pollok, Glasgow, was presumably designed by Stark and Rowntree in 1896, as indicated by the datestone. This single-storey lodge is built in an L-plan and features mullioned and transomed windows, with most of the upper lights still retaining their original multi-pane design. The left side has an advanced gable with a canted bay, while the right side includes a cross-window. There is a porch at the angle of the building, with a doorway set obliquely. The structure is constructed of bull-faced ashlar with contrasting dressings, and it has ball-finialed gables topped with slate roofs. Although the original gatepiers have been removed, the quadrants remain.
