Description

Late 19th century. Originally stable block to Ross Hall, now council parks department, 4 ranges about courtyard, detached rectangular-plan range at E. Red ashlar with polished dressings, crow-stepped gables, slate roofs. S range is near symmetrical and contains central wide round-arched carriage opening, 2 massive timber gates, sculptured crest over; N range is domestic, pair 3-bay houses, single storey and attic with crow-stepped dormer heads set above main eaves level; courtyard is glass-roofed, with steel frame and trusses; detached block single storey and loft, wide opening at S end of W wall.

Converted to residential accommodation, 1994.
