Description

14-16 Hector Road is a later 19th century single storey and attic villa featuring Italianate detailing. The building has an L-plan front with most openings designed with key-stones, tall and round arches. On the left gable, there is a wide canted ground floor bay with bracketed eaves, and above it, a smaller canted window that rises upwards into an octagonal shape. To the right, there is an inner doorway and a gabled attic dormer head. The exterior is finished in cleaned ashlar stone, with blocked deep eaves and stacks that have shaped caps.
