Description
The Lodge at Pollok House, located in Pollok Park on Pollokshaws Road in Glasgow, was designed by Sir R Rowand Anderson in 1892 and is built in the Scots early classical style. This single-storey structure features a prominent curved bow facing the driveway. It is constructed of ashlar with slated roofs that are shallow-pitched and conical over the bow. The Lodge is connected to a gateway that includes tall rusticated piers and well-crafted wrought-iron gates.
