Description
Cairney Lodge Gate Lodge is a single-storey classical building from the later 19th century, located to the south of the main house. It has extensions to the east and south, with the entrance door situated in the southern extension. The lodge is rendered and features ashlar dressings, all of which are painted. The west elevation showcases a pedimented, tetrastyle Greek Doric portico topped with an anthemion finial, with a canted window positioned behind the portico. The north elevation consists of three bays, each containing 3-pane sash windows with pilastered jambs. Additional architectural details include a cill course, a frieze, and a slated roof.
