Description

Earlier to mid 19th century, extended to rear late 20th century. Single storey, 3-bay, L-plan piend-roofed classical lodge house. Stugged ashlar with raised quoins and architraved windows. Deep base course, eaves cornice and blocking course. Segmental-headed door; bracketted cills; keystones; stone mullions.

NE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: L-plan elevation with pilastered porch set in re-entrant angle at centre bay, modern timber door with segmental fanlight and narrow light on return to right; set-back bay to right with single window and advanced separately piended bay with bipartite window to left.

NW (DRIVE) ELEVATION: bipartite window to original single bay elevation with later bay set back to right.

SW (REAR) ELEVATION: obscured by extension.

SE ELEVATION: abutting neighbouring property.

Aluminium double glazing throughout. Grey slates. Coped ashlar ridge stack with single polygonal can.

BOUNDARY WALLS, GATEPIERS, GATES AND RAILINGS: low saddleback-coped boundary walls with inset decorative ironwork railings; 2 pairs of square-section ashlar gatepiers, pair to SE flat-coped with decorative ironwork pedestrian gate and pair to NW with flat-cope to left and pyramidal-cope to right flanking fixed railings.
