14-15 Halketshall, Limekilns

14-15 Halketshall in Limekilns is a symmetrical house from the later 18th century, featuring two storeys and an attic with a square plan. The principal elevation is cream painted, while the other sides are rough harled. The openings have painted architraves, chamfered window architraves, and a moulded eaves course.

On the south elevation, there is a central door with an inscribed lintel that features a heart shape between the initials 'JW MF 1774'. The door is a replacement timber two-leaf design. The ground floor has widely spaced flanking windows, and there are three first-floor windows centered above them.

The west elevation is partially visible and includes a single window at the first floor and attic on the right side. The north elevation has ground floor windows and a single first-floor window on both the right and left sides. There is a central piended outshot at the first floor that serves as a walkway below, with a door in the left return leading to No 15 and a window in the right return. The roof features piended bipartite dormer windows on both sides.

The house has two-pane timber windows, with one rooflight at the front and two at the rear. The grey slate roof is laid in diminishing courses and has gable apex stacks, raised skews, kneelered gables, and moulded concave skewputts.

A rubble garden wall runs along either side of the gable wall to the rear bank. There is a monopitch, stone-built privy that abuts the east garden wall, featuring a doorway in the west wall and a small window in the south wall.

The interiors were not seen in 2000.
