Description

The War Memorial in Limekilns is an obelisk built in the earlier 20th century to honor those who died in the First and Second World Wars. It features a sandstone column that stands on two steps. The base is shouldered and has inscriptions on each face. The shaft is plain, topped with a square, corniced stone that includes a cross and emblem inscriptions.
