Myrtlebank, Sandhaven, Culross

Myrtlebank is a house located in Sandhaven, Culross, dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is a two-storey building with an attic and features three bays. The exterior is made of exposed coursed rubble, with blocked ashlar surrounds around the windows and door.

The south elevation is symmetrical, with a central door flanked by windows and three first-floor windows above. The west elevation has three ground floor windows and two larger first-floor windows, with architraves of narrower, former windows visible below. There are also two small square attic windows. The north elevation is partially visible, featuring a ground floor door to the left and two first-floor windows. The east elevation includes a ground floor window, which was formerly a door, to the left, a first-floor window to the left, and a small square attic window above. Mint Lea is attached to the right side.

The windows are 12-pane timber sash and case types with horns. The openings on the west elevation have been altered. The roof is pitched with a kneelered gable and rounded skewputts, and there are corniced gable apex stacks. The roof is covered with replacement Roman tiles. The interior was not seen as of 2001.
