15, 17 Quality Street, North Berwick

15 and 17 Quality Street in North Berwick is a late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay house that was converted into a shop and house in 1968. The building is constructed of law stone rubble, which is squared and coursed, with whinstone snecking on the eastern front and harled on the northern gable. It features painted raised droved ashlar margins.

On the eastern front, there is a central doorway flanked by a window to the north, both of which have modern wrought-iron grilles. To the south, there is a plate glass shop window and door. A simple classical pilaster is present at the northern quoin.

The windows have small-pane glazing, and the roof is pantiled. The northern gable is blank, with a plain raised skew and stack.
