Description

Early 19th century 2-storey, 3-bay house, altered to include shop at ground and raised for attic later in 19th century. Rendered with contrasting dressings, base course cornice to original house, eaves course to attic. Broad door to shop at centre (2-leaf doors), flanked by shop windows; pend door to outer right. 3 1st floor windows. Gabled stone later 19th century dormers breaking eaves with ashlar coping and bracketted skewputts, blank apex shields and ball finials. Plate glass sash and case windows. Raised painted bands to all openings. Cast-iron rainwater goods. 2-storey to all openings. Cast-iron rainwater goods. 2-storey stepped wing to rear with single storey lean-to beyond. Letterbox fanlights to doors.Graduated grey slates. Mutual gable stacks. Sandstone ridge.
