Description
Mid House on Main Street in Stenton is a house dating from around 1800. It is two stories tall and has three bays, located on the roadside and connected on both sides to lower buildings. The house is constructed from pink sandstone rubble that is roughly squared, with ashlar dressings. The entrance door is centrally located and is flanked by windows on the ground floor, with equally large windows above on the first floor.
At the rear, there is a projecting stair block. The sash and case windows feature a 12-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates, and it has gables and chimney stacks, with ashlar coped skews.
