121 Church Street, Tranent

This building, located at 121 Church Street in Tranent, is an earlier 19th century single-storey house with three bays, along with a slightly later one-bay addition to the south. It is constructed from rubble sandstone, though the side has unfortunate cement-pointing, while the rear is harled.

On the west elevation, there is a central door with a narrow fanlight, flanked by windows. The addition to the right features a window and has a gabled return elevation. The rear of the house has three windows, and there is a door leading to the lower, recessed addition, which includes a later lean-to set in the re-entrant angle.

The sash and case windows have a 4-pane glazing pattern. The building features ashlar coped skews with beak skewputts, red tiles on the roof, and a slate eaves course, along with end stacks.
