Description
12 Church Street in Tranent is a two-storey property from the later 18th century, featuring three irregular narrow bays and an extension at the rear. The building is cement rendered. The former door in the center of the east elevation has been blocked and converted into a window, while a new door has been inserted to the outer left, which was previously a window. There is also a window to the outer right, with a window on the first floor in each outer bay.
The property has mutual gables with the adjoining buildings to the north and south. The sash and case windows have a plate glass glazing pattern. The roof is covered with modern red pantiles, complemented by a slate eaves course.
