Description
27 Westgate is an earlier 19th century, symmetrical, three-bay, two-storey house. The building features a rubble construction that is harled on the sides, with a painted stugged ashlar front and painted ashlar margins. It has a raised base course and cills.
On the north elevation, there is a consoled cornice above the door, adorned with carved shield ornaments. Above the centre, there is a blind window on the first floor. The house has plate glass sash and case windows, plain raised skews, and gable stacks on both the east gable and the mutual gable. The roof is slated.
