Description

Davington House is a mid-19th century, two-storey, three-bay symmetrical house located on Old Well Road in Moffat. The central bay is advanced and features a gablet. The building is constructed of painted rubble with ashlar dressings. It has a central door with a consoled lintel, and there are bipartite windows on both floors. The first-floor windows are hood-moulded. The house has a moulded eaves course and a gabled slated roof with end stacks.
