Description
Claremont is a late 19th century pair of two-storey and attic houses that form a six-bay symmetrical front. The buildings are constructed from cherry-cocked whinstone, featuring pointed ashlar, moulded dressings, and long and short quoins. Each house has a central door situated under a gable head, with the inner bays slightly advanced and gabled. The outer gabled bays are also advanced and include a canted window at ground level and a tripartite window above. There are small attic lights and finials on the gables, and the roofs are slated. The property is complemented by three pairs of pyramidal gatepiers.
