Description
44 Gilmore Place is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay symmetrical house. It is constructed of coursed rubble with painted ashlar dressings. The house features regularly arranged tripartite windows on the ground floor. The entrance includes a timber panelled glazed door with a plate glass fanlight, framed by a Doric pilastered surround. The windows are made of plate glass set in timber sash and case frames. The roof is covered with grey slates and has stone skews, along with corniced stacks that have circular cans. Additionally, there is a low stone coped boundary wall surrounding the property.
