Description

Early 19th century. Symmetrical 2-storey, 3-bay classically

detailed house. Coursed, squared rubble with droved

ashlar dressings, raised quoins and cills.

N ELEVATION: corniced door at centre decorative fanlight

and flush panelled door. Flanking windows and 3 slightly

smaller at 1st floor.

S ELEVATION: harled. Centre and left bays project, main

roof swept over. Stair window at centre. Pentice roofed

addition at ground to right bay with single light above.

Small-pane sash and case windows.

Raised skews and ashlar end stacks. Grey slates.

Walled garden to S with high rubble coped, rubble walls

and pentice roofed outbuilding to W. Decorative cast-iron

railings, to N sloping garden, on coped retaining wall.
