Lodge, Invereil House, Dirleton Road, North Berwick

The lodge at Invereil House on Dirleton Road in North Berwick was designed by Peddie and Washington Browne and is a single-storey, symmetrical building in the Arts and Crafts style. It features snecked Rattlebay stone with red ashlar dressings. The west elevation has a depressed arched doorway with a moulded upper surround and a door that includes a small pane upper panel. To the left of the doorway is a tripartite window, while to the right is a bipartite window, both with timber mullions. There is an extension at the rear. The casement windows have small-pane glazing, and there are brick stacks with moulded coping, one of which is harled. The roof is a slated piend design with swept eaves.

Surrounding the lodge are ashlar coped Rattlebag quadrant walls with circular, conical, and bull finialled piers on the south side. The boundaries of Invereil are marked by rubble walls topped with rubble and ashlar coping.
