Invereil Coachhouse, Invereil House, Dirleton Road, North Berwick

Invereil Coachhouse, located at Invereil House on Dirleton Road in North Berwick, is a single-storey building with an attic, designed by Peddie and Washington Browne in 1898. Originally a coach-house, it features a rear addition. The structure is built from random rubble Rattlebag stone, accented with red ashlar dressings, and has red tile-hanging between the lintels and eaves.

The west elevation is irregular with five bays. There is an advanced gable bay off-centre to the right, which has a segmentally arched opening at the ground level now filled with a tripartite door. To the left, there are two single windows, and to the right, three single windows. Above the gable bay, there is a single window and a weather-vane. The building also features tripartite gabled timber dormers. The sash and case windows have small-pane glazing, and the brick stacks have moulded coping. The roof is covered with piended slate.
