Description
Grove Cottage is a late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay house located on High Street in Aberlady. The building is constructed from roughly squared and coursed rubble with painted raised margins. The entrance is centrally positioned and features a door with a two-pane strip fanlight above it, flanked by windows on the ground floor. The first floor has three windows, and there are two flat-roofed tiled dormers. The windows are sash and case style with a four-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with red pantiles and includes coped skews and an ashlar stack on the east side, as well as a raised skew and mutual stack on the west side. A low rubble wall surrounds the garden.
