Description

Kilmardinny House, built around 1840, is a Classical-style building made of ashlar stone. It has two storeys and features a plinth, band cornices, and a high parapet with raised panels that conceal a slate roof. The central recessed porch is supported by coupled Ionic columns and includes an entablature and balustrade, with pedimented windows on either side. There are various additions at the rear of the building. Kilmardinny House is currently occupied by the Bearsden Arts Centre.
