Description
1 Carse View Drive in Bearsden is a two-storey house built in 1936 by J.R.H. MacDonald of John MacDonald (contractors) Ltd. It showcases an International style with smooth render over brick bases and a flat roof. The southeast elevation features two windows and a large single-storey rectangular porch. The porch roof extends at half width around a curved eastern angle, with six-light windows leading to a door on the northeast elevation, which also has a later porch added. The northwest elevation has irregular fenestration, with some openings altered and glazing replaced throughout. There is a lower two-storey addition and a garage block to the north, along with a roughcast and brick garden wall.
