8 Carse View Drive, Bearsden

8 Carse View Drive in Bearsden is a two-storey house built in 1933 by J.R.H. MacDonald of John MacDonald Contractors Ltd. It features an International style design with a roughcast and whitewashed exterior, complemented by brick sills and a base course. The building has a stepped flat roof and an asymmetrical north front with two windows. A central single-storey open porch, which has a broad French window that is placed asymmetrically, leads to a curved north angle with six-light windows that extend around to the northwest elevation, where the porch is located. The southwest elevation displays irregular window placements. On the southeast elevation, there is a door that is now blocked and has a canopy above it, along with a stepped chimney breast. The original glazing remains intact. Additionally, there is a harled garden wall topped with a brick coping.
