Glen Haven, 5 Carse View Drive, Bearsden

Glen Haven, located at 5 Carse View Drive in Bearsden, is a building designed by J.R.H. MacDonald of John Macdonald Contractors Ltd in 1933, showcasing the International style. This two-storey structure features smooth rendered, whitewashed walls over a painted brick base and has a stepped flat roof.

The north east elevation has two windows and a central single-storey porch with altered glazing. It also includes six-light windows that curve around the north angle onto the north west elevation, which has a single light window above a square-plan single-storey porch. The south east elevation has three windows and a prominent chimney breast. The south west elevation features a door with a canopy above and irregularly placed windows. Most of the glazing consists of original metal lying pane casements.

Additionally, there is a detached garage to the south and a roughcast garden wall topped with brick coping.
