Kilmardinny Lodge And Piers, Kilmardinny Avenue, Bearsden

Kilmardinny Lodge is an early 19th-century single-storey building with a rectangular plan and a piend roof, located on Kilmardinny Avenue in Bearsden. The lodge features three bays and has grouped chimney stacks made of ashlar stone. The entrance elevation is symmetrical, with an advanced gabled porch at the center that includes a two-leaf timber door and a plate glass fanlight, flanked by windows in the adjacent bays.

On the eastern elevation facing Milngavie Road, there is a single window in the center. The windows are timber sash and case with a horizontal 10-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates, and the building has deeply overhanging eaves with coped ashlar stacks.

Surrounding the lodge are boundary walls made of coped ashlar, which are complemented by square-section ashlar piers that are pyramidally-coped.
