Description
7 Carse View Drive in Bearsden is a two-storey house built in 1933 by J.R.H. MacDonald of John MacDonald Contractors Ltd. It features an International style design with a whitewashed smooth render and a painted brick base course, topped with a flat roof. The east elevation is symmetrical, showcasing a central open porch and a sunlounge above it, with one window on each side. The south elevation has two windows and a central chimney breast, while the north elevation also has two windows but features a broad asymmetrically stepped chimney breast at the center. There is a later sunlounge addition at the rear and a garage added to the west. Most of the glazing is original, and there is a harled garden wall with a brick coping.
