Description
This building, located at 83 Main Street, is a cottage from the later 18th century that has undergone some alterations and has 20th century additions at the rear. It is a single-storey and attic structure with three bays, featuring 19th century canted dormers with piend roofs in the attic. The exterior is finished with painted render and has painted ashlar margins, a base course, and raised margins around the windows and door. The front door, which is half-glazed and timber-panelled, dates from the late 20th century and is flanked by bipartite windows. The attic has two dormers with slate-hung sides. The windows throughout the building are timber sash and case with 4-pane glazing, while the dormers have plate glass. The roof is covered with graded grey slate.
