The exterior is finished in dry-dash render with painted ashlar margins, a base course, and raised margins around the windows and doors. The cottage has timber sash and case windows, with 4-pane glazing in the upper sashes and plate glass in the lower sashes. The dormers feature 2-pane glazing in the upper sashes. The brick stacks are topped with assorted yellow clay cans. The roof is covered with graded grey slate, and it has cast-iron rainwater goods.
