Description
Edenville, located at 93 Main Street, is a cottage from the later 18th century that has undergone some alterations, including a mid-20th century extension at the rear with a piend roof. The building is single storey with an attic and features two bays. It has a 20th century gabled dormer in the attic and a ridge stack. The exterior is finished with unpainted pebble-dashed render, accented by painted ashlar margins, an eaves course, a base course, quoin strips, and raised margins around the windows and doors.
The front door is half-glazed and timber-panelled, with a bipartite window to the left. The dormer is bargeboarded and has slate-hung sides. The windows are timber sash and case with plate glass, and the dormer features 4-pane casements. The building has an ashlar-coped skew and a rendered stack with yellow clay cans, topped with graded grey slate.
