Description
95 Main Street is a later 18th century cottage that features 19th century dormers and a flat-roofed extension added to the rear around 1960. It is a single storey and attic structure with three bays, showcasing late 19th century canted piend-roofed dormers and gablehead stacks. The exterior is constructed of random sandstone rubble, with a cement render on the west gable and painted ashlar margins. The windows and doors have raised margins, including a two-leaf timber-boarded front door, a window to the right, and two windows to the left. There is a bow window on the west gable from circa 1960, along with two dormers in the attic.
The cottage predominantly features four-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows. The rendered stacks are topped with yellow clay cans, and the roof has coped skews covered in graded grey slate.
