Description

9, 11, 13 King Street in Kilmarnock is a building dated 1805. It is three stories tall and has four bays. The ground floor features a modern shop front, with strip pilasters at each end and a band course at the second floor, all painted white.

On the principal elevation, the ground floor has the modern shop front, while the first floor has four single windows, and the second floor also has four single windows. The south elevation includes single windows in the outer bays on both the first and second floors. The north elevation is adjacent to another building.

The first floor has 4-pane astragaled windows with stained glass in the upper panes, while the second floor features 12-pane sash and case windows. The roof is slate with straight skews, a short coped stack at the gablehead, and a larger coped and harled stack with cans at the gablehead.

The interior was not seen in 2001.
